Welcome to Unibuddy, Ghana's leading university matching platform. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Unibuddy website, mobile applications, and services (collectively, the "Service").
2. Definitions
User
Individuals who access or use the Service, including visitors, registered users, and subscribers.
Content
Text, graphics, images, software, audio, video, information or other materials displayed on the Service.
Educational Data
Information about exam results, schools attended, and academic preferences provided by users.
Service
The Unibuddy platform, including website, mobile apps, and all related services.
3. User Accounts
Account Creation
When creating an account, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. This includes your educational background and exam results for proper program matching.
Account Security
You are responsible for safeguarding your password and all activities under your account. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party.
Account Termination
We may terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent activities. Users can delete their accounts at any time through account settings.
4. Acceptable Use
Permitted Uses
- • Checking university program eligibility
- • Calculating WASSCE aggregate scores
- • Browsing university information
- • Saving preferred programs and universities
- • Accessing educational guidance resources
Prohibited Uses
- • Providing false educational information
- • Attempting to hack or disrupt the service
- • Sharing copyrighted content without permission
- • Creating multiple accounts for fraudulent purposes
- • Using the service for commercial scraping
5. Privacy & Data Protection

6. Limitation of Liability
Important Disclaimer
While we strive for accuracy, university admission decisions are made by the institutions themselves. Unibuddy provides guidance based on available information but cannot guarantee admission outcomes.
Unibuddy and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
- Inability to access or use the Service
- Any conduct or content of third parties on the Service
- Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your data
7. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Ghana, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Ghana.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through email notifications or prominent notices on our platform. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
